Our Story
Field & Larder began with a simple idea: that great food starts with respect. Respect for ingredients, for the craft of cooking and for the people gathered around the table. Though a young company, we bring with us years of experience in event catering and a shared passion for creating food that feels both elegant and deeply personal.
Our philosophy is shaped by connection: to our clients, to our team, and to the network of farmers, growers, and artisans we’re proud to work alongside. We use incredible ingredients sourced from across the British Isles, celebrating seasonality, provenance, and the people who make exceptional produce possible.

Our Team
Field & Larder is led by founder Mike Morrey, a passionate chef with broad experience across the UK and internationally. Mike has built his career working with respected event and catering teams, including roles with Jimmy Garcia Catering and well-regarded London event companies such as Bacchus and Lettice Events, where he refined his skills in large-scale, bespoke catering for diverse occasions.
Driven by a love of seasonal British produce and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, Mike launched Field & Larder to bring exceptional catering to weddings, corporate events, outdoor celebrations and private gatherings with a personal touch. His approach blends fine dining standards with relaxed, engaging hospitality — delivering restaurant-quality dishes that suit both elegant venues and rural or field settings. Mike is hands-on at every event, ensuring consistency, creativity, and exceptional service from the kitchen to the table.

Fantastic service was provided.
I would highly recommend using Field & Larder catering. The service provided by them was of high quality and reasonably priced. My party was organised within the week but you would never have guessed it. Field & Larder made everything work so smoothly. Their staff members were professional, friendly and happy to help where needed - from taking coats, writing a lovely ‘welcome to my new pad’ sign on the board of the bar and handing out the canapés. The barman was attentive, making sure glasses were filled. He also made the most amazing porn star martinis. The food was delicious too. The chef provided wonderful canapés, especially the chicken Bon Bon’s and the fish and chips, they were a huge it. The overall customer service was incredible
