We love capturing natural moments ❤️ Real smiles, real connections and real fun and joy with the people you love most!
We have a lovely little studio in Sherwood Forest Arts and Crafts Centre in Edwinstowe, only 10mins walk from the famous Major Oak (where Robin and Merry Men used to hide!), but for weddings and outdoor shoots we love to travel all over the midlands and beyond!
❤️ We love old characterful venues with outside spaces, greenery, nature and big skies. We also love barns, farms, teepees, golf clubs, city halls (big fans of art deco!), village halls, old churches, castle ruins and big country houses and fancy halls too ❤️ anywhere with lovely lighting, great backdrops, quirky corners, things to do and comfy places for you and your guests to enjoy - perfect for all those lovely candid photos ❤️

Our Story
Our story: After graduating with photography & design degree, I was so happy to be taken on as a professional Portrait Photographer at Venture Photography in Nottingham, where I learnt how to create happy fun photo experiences for families, couples, kids and pets, and transform these memories into creative photo art for their homes. Karl had been working in the music industry for a long time (and loved it), but we were so busy at work we hardly saw each other... so when a chance came to set up our own studio together, we jumped at the opportunity!
And so LOVE photography was born in 2010, with the goal of capturing happy family memories with a laid back and relaxed approach & a cosy comfy studio... allowing people time to settle in and kids to play, and let the natural moments just happen (with just a teeny bit of quiet direction to create lovely photos). This approach works so well, especially if anyone is a bit camera shy or neurodivergent - we love that they enjoy it so much, and we do too!
Now 16 years on, we have a new name - Forest Fox Photography - and a lovely cosy studio in Sherwood Forest Arts & Crafts Centre and we're so happy that we're asked to capture weddings and family events too...
Wedding photography came along naturally - families kept asking us, so we decided to learn how to shoot weddings! luckily my friend Claire is a top wedding photographer, so I assisted and eventually second shot for her and then we took on weddings ourselves, and learnt more and more each year. Now 150ish weddings later... we can't imagine life without capturing wedding stories - we absolutely love them!
Our weddings are a lovely mix of candids, documentary, group photos, couples walkabouts, and tonnes of sneaky moments that you won't even remember us taking! We work with you guys, share ideas, and do whatever we can to help your day be the best day ever!! Our Team
Team Forest Fox is Caroline and Karl (just the two of us for now) and we love working together, so you get two photographers for the same price as one!
Experience
2025: We opened our new studio in the Sherwood Forest Arts & Crafts Centre and it's the best location ever! The centre is full of beautiful craft shops and studios, the Major Oak is just a short walk away and there are sooo many dogs we're in heaven :D It's magical here and we LOVE it! Pretty sure we've found our forever home :)
2024: Moved to Arnold Business Centre, lovely big windows but a bit industrial for our families.
2022: Opened again as weLOVEphotography in Sneinton, Nottingham! Temporary home, but lovely :)
2020: Sadly closed (temporarily) due to COVID, but thank you to all the families who kept us going with booking shoots outdoors, and all the wedding bookings too!
2010-2020: Started our business together and opened our beautiful Family Portrait Studio called LOVEphotography in the middle of Hockley, Nottingham City Centre. It's so crazy to think that during this time we captured memories for thousands of happy families, babies, couples and pets! we made lots of friends that became family, and generally had the best time ever. A happy magical time and we're so grateful for all the many memories!

From start to finish these two wonderful photographs was clicking away capturing ( I can’t wait to see) wonderful moments of our wedding day from the house to the church onto reception, some structure moments ( not may because I wanted unforgettable moments) I can’t wait to see some previews and then the whole package.
