I’m Pete, the Funky Booth DJ. I bring the music and atmosphere to weddings, parties and events, with great sound, modern lighting and everything mixed live.

I build the music around you and your guests, welcome requests and bring different ages and tastes together. I know and love music across the decades and genres, so there’s plenty to choose from, from the obvious crowd favourites to brilliant tracks you might have forgotten about.

I’m organised, well prepared and easy to work with. I’ll sort out the details beforehand, liaise with your venue and anyone else I need to for you, and make sure everything is ready. You can concentrate on enjoying your event while I take care of the DJ side.

I take the music seriously, but never myself. It’s a party. It should be fun.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve played, composed and produced it, and now I’m back behind the decks DJing.

Having lived through decades of great music gives me a huge range to draw on, and I’m still discovering new tracks all the time.

I love finding the right music for the people in front of me and seeing what happens when it clicks. Heads start nodding, feet start tapping and, before long, people are dancing.

Every event is different, so for me it’s about getting the music right for you and the people you’ve invited. I’m good at bringing different ages and musical tastes together and changing things as the party develops.

Some people will want to dance, some will want to sing along and some will just be enjoying the music with a drink. Getting that mix right is what makes a great party.

My clients care about the music, but also about how the whole party looks, sounds and feels. They want great sound, lighting that transforms the room and music that brings everyone together.

I DJ for people from 20 to 120, and every age in between. Whatever the occasion, it’s about turning their venue into their own music club for the night, filled with their people and their kind of music.
