About Glitter Splash

Hello I’m Katie and I’m a degree qualified artist, since having my 3 children I’ve turned my talents to face painting & glitter tattoos. I’ve had so much fun and I love what I do. There’s nothing better than going to ‘work’ but it’s not work as you enjoy it so much! I’m available for all types of events - childrens’ parties, weddings, christenings, festivals, fetes. Happy to travel up to an hour from my home in Flintshire. I offer glitter tattoos that are different from the norm, with lots of colours and more sparkles! I don’t just use one colour, I’m always complimented on them and many say they’ve not seen any like them before.

Typical Clients

Face painting is perfect for all children’s events. I use high quality paints diamond FX, superstar, face paints Australia etc. All brushes & equipment are properly sanitised My glitter bar is very popular for weddings and festivals. Lots of choice festival faces, face gems, hair gems/glitter, glitter tattoos

Cancelled 4 days before event

Got in touch to check details for the party and heard from them 4 days before saying they couldn’t make it. Nightmare and left us with no face painter for a festival for kids and too short notice to find a back up.

Hello, I’m sorry that you felt the need to leave a negative review. I thought that everything had been sorted. So as per our messages I replied on the Monday before the party on the Saturday so it was more than 4 days notice. I explained to you that I’d not long split up from my husband (it was actually the day before you messaged me) And that I was now having difficulty getting to you as the party was miles away from me. I also explained that I have 3 young kids to look after by myself now and it would be difficult for me to get a babysitter. I was also under alot of stress. The best part of it is, I told you I was sorting a replacement face painter. I contacted 2 other painters who were available and would have happily have done the party. But you said no and it’s ok you’ve sorted something out yourself, not once but twice told me it’s fine. I never let people down whatever happens that’s not how I run my business, and I would always find a replacement in the worst case scenario But as you’ve felt the need to write this I have to share my side of the story!

Fun for all

Katie did glitter tattoos at our wedding last weekend. We were a bit unsure how many people would get on board (but knew that we would love it) but I would say the majority did! Katie was so popular she was even able to stay on for another half an hour to get through the queue of people wanting to see her. We had great communication with her before the day and she arrived on time ready to go. Highly recommend Katie for a wedding as adults and kids alike loved it!

Fantastic service & lovely lady.

We hired Katie from glitter splash for our daughters birthday party and she was fantastic. Katie was friendly & professional. Everyone looked brilliant. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic addition to our son's birthday party.

Katie had an amazing selection of glitter, tattoos, hair art and face painting. She worked really hard making sure every child got what they wanted at the party. Thank you Katie.
