Greek Gourmet UK – Authentic Greek Street Food
I’m Markos, the chef and owner behind Greek Gourmet UK, bringing fresh, authentic Greek street food to events across Herefordshire and the UK.
We specialise in: • Pork & chicken gyros (fresh, marinated in-house with Mediterranean herbs) • Lamb chef’s signature • Halloumi • Falafel
Everything is prepared fresh on the day, with handmade tzatziki and pitta bread, fries, salad and sauces.
We serve from a professional food trailer or gazebo setup, fully insured and compliant with all UK food safety standards.

Our Story
I started Greek Gourmet UK because I missed real Greek street food – fresh, full of flavour and made with care. As a chef, I create all my marinades and sauces myself, using Mediterranean herbs and traditional methods that I grew up with.
What drives me is seeing people enjoy honest, fresh food. I love bringing that experience to events, whether it’s a wedding, a festival or a corporate booking. My goal is simple: great flavour, fast service and happy guests.

Experience
I have several years of experience in street food catering across the UK, serving thousands of guests at festivals, corporate events, weddings and private parties. I run multiple professional setups (food trailer and gazebo), fully equipped to handle high-volume service with consistent quality.
As a trained chef and business owner, I prepare all marinades, sauces and dishes in-house, ensuring fresh, authentic Greek flavours every time. I’m used to working under pressure, keeping queues moving fast and guests happy.
Recent events include town festivals, Christmas markets, music events and large corporate bookings.

Markos is INCREDIBLE
Markos turned up when he said he would, cooked incredible food, really great value too. He attended a string of events over the summer for us and was perfection every time. I couldn't recommend him enough, and I am already missing my weekly Gyros!

Amazing food and great service highly recommended
Markos did the catering for my retirement and 60th birthday party he could not have been more helpful with organising the menu and ensuring all my guests including vegans had delicious food so many authentic Greek dishes all mouthwatering highly recommend using Markos to cater your event 10 out of 10
