About Humble Chef

Hello, I am James Farrell. My private chef services are great for your private events at home or holiday accommodation. Menus are bespoke built specifically to the client's needs/wants, likes/dislikes, and dietary requirements. I come from a fine dining background but have specialised in many different cuisines from fine dining AA rosette, gastro dining, corporate events, weddings, and tapas bars. I have a broad knowledge that I am sure will meet any client's needs, and I pride myself on being as flexible as I possibly can and giving a friendly and professional service from start to finish.

Excellent from first communication

Great service from James from initial communication all the way through to our event! Very clear & supportive, making alterations to menus to accommodate budget as well as dietary requirements. Food was delicious. Personable & approachable on the day, really added to our event & helped us end on a high! Thanks so much, James!

Brilliant

Arrived promptly and just organised everything so easily. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was great. Our whole party thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Perfect!

Everything was perfect! We had been chatting to James leading up to the event and he nailed everything. He arrived with everything he needed with things to spare. The food was delicious, timely and gorgeously presented. Most importantly, for us at least, was that we had asked things to be more casual and he struck the perfect balance of letting us be involved and chatting to us while focusing on the food and the presentation. Everyone absolutely loved it! Thank you so much!!
