Our Story
Our story began with a unique twist. In 2007, Huxley Events was founded by husband-and-wife team Kate and Steve Gaskin, both former Scotland Yard detectives, who brought their exceptional skills in observation, teamwork and problem-solving into the world of events. Their original idea was to create immersive crime-themed team building experiences that were exciting, challenging and unlike anything else in the corporate events industry.
From those early beginnings, our approach has always been driven by creativity, innovation and a passion for people. Over the years we’ve had the privilege of working with amazing clients and designing experiences that engage teams, spark conversations and leave lasting memories — from large-scale team building at national conferences to more intimate company celebrations.
In 2020 we evolved into a full-service event management and experience agency under the leadership of Lizzy Dring, expanding beyond our crime roots while still honouring what inspired us most: creating meaningful, brilliantly executed events that bring people together and make organisations feel proud of their teams.
What inspires us every day is seeing the impact of great events — watching people connect, laugh, collaborate and celebrate — and knowing that our attention to detail and commitment to excellence makes it all possible. At Huxley Events, we’re a passionate team of event professionals dedicated to delivering creative, seamless and memorable corporate experiences.
Founded in 2007 by former Scotland Yard detectives Kate Gaskin and Steve Gaskin, the business has grown into a full-service event agency now led by Lizzy Dring. The project management team is headed up by Victoria Kerslake, with fellow event managers Luutsche, Michael, Conor, Josh, Neil & Alisha to name just a few.
Alongside our core team our expert event managers are there ensure seamless events are delivered.
