I Am Santa

A genuine real-beard Santa bringing personality, interaction and Christmas magic to private celebrations, commercial events and festive experiences.

My beard, moustache and white hair are all my own — no fake beard and no wig. But looking like Santa is only the beginning. It's the conversation, laughter and little details that make children believe they've met the real one.

Every booking is different, so I don't work from a rigid script. I listen, improvise and respond naturally to the people in front of me, whether I'm entertaining a room full of guests, meeting families at a festive venue or creating a quieter, more personal Santa experience.

I can provide meet-and-greet and walkabout appearances, grotto and seated experiences, Christmas parties, hotel and restaurant events, weddings, stage and special appearances, gift presentations and more.

I also have experience meeting children with SEND and additional needs and am happy to adapt my approach where needed.

Based in North Derbyshire, I'm available across the North West and East Midlands, with other locations considered by arrangement.

Becoming Santa happened almost by accident.

Shortly after retiring, I saw an advert looking for a last-minute Santa and thought I'd give it a go. It was only a one-day booking, but seeing the children's reactions — that genuine moment of wonder when they believed Santa was standing in front of them — changed everything.

There was just one problem. I was given a horrible nylon beard that covered my mouth completely. I decided there and then that if I ever played Santa again, I'd do it properly.

I already had naturally white hair, so I grew my own beard. No fake beard. No wig. And I haven't looked back.

That authenticity is still an important part of I AM SANTA, but I've learned that the appearance only gets you through the door. What really matters is the connection.

Some children can't wait to tell Santa everything. Others need a little time. Adults can be just as much fun as the children. I adapt to whoever is in front of me and try to make every encounter feel spontaneous and personal.

Now in my third season as a professional Santa, I've built a reputation for reliability and genuine warmth that keeps clients coming back — every client who has booked me has invited me back, which I consider the real measure of a good Santa.
