Indian Tent Events brings beautifully styled boho-Indian bell tents to weddings, festivals, retreats and private celebrations across Bath, Bristol and Somerset. Rich textiles, brass detail and warm lighting turn any outdoor space into somewhere that feels genuinely different, whether that's a ceremony space, a wedding-night honeymoon suite, guest accommodation for a festival-style wedding, or a chill-out lounge for a private party.

Every tent is hand-styled, delivered, erected and collected by us, you don't lift a finger.

What sets us apart is the food. Many of our clients add home-cooked Indian food from our sister service, Nani Ma's Kitchen, slow-cooked curries, fresh naan and samosas made the way they're cooked in Indian homes, not catering-company food. Vegetarian and vegan menus available.

For the last stretch of our lives, our biggest adventure has been raising our two boys, now teenagers, somehow taller than us, and still (occasionally) willing to be seen with their parents. Those years shaped everything. They taught us what it means to create a space where people feel comfortable, cared for, and genuinely looked after.

A friend with a beautiful venue in Bath came to us with an idea: would we help bring the glamping side of things to life? It was the spark we didn’t know we were waiting for. Between us, we’d spent years immersed in festivals and retreats, learning what makes a space feel welcoming, what makes food memorable, and what turns a stay into something you talk about for years afterwards. So we said yes, and poured everything we love into it.

Our glamping experience is a little different. It’s rooted in the countryside around Bath, but it carries the soul of India with it, warm colours, rich textures, and the unmistakable hospitality that anyone who’s travelled there will recognise. We serve authentic Indian food, prepared with care and the real ingredients it deserves, so every meal feels like part of the journey rather than an afterthought. It’s glamping with a vibe, comfortable, beautiful, full of flavour, and built for people who want their getaway to feel like an experience, not just an overnight stay.

Indian Tent Events was founded by a couple who wanted to bring something different to the UK glamping scene: bell tents styled with real Indian textiles, brass and heritage pieces, rather than generic boho decor. Renu brings her Indian heritage and eye for styling to every tent, hand-selecting fabrics and details so each setup feels authentic rather than themed. Behind the scenes, we handle every part of your event ourselves, from the initial consultation through delivery, styling, setup and collection, so nothing is left to a subcontractor you've never spoken to.

We pair this with Nani Ma's Kitchen, our home-cooked Indian food service, so guests get an experience that's rooted in real culture and family tradition rather than a rented-out event package. It's this attention to detail, and doing both the tents and the food ourselves, that our couples and event hosts tell us they notice most.

Our clients are couples planning boho or festival-style weddings who want their ceremony or guest accommodation to feel personal rather than off-the-shelf, often looking for something with more character than a standard marquee. We also work with private hosts planning garden parties, milestone celebrations and retreats, and with wellness practitioners running yoga or meditation weekends who want a tent that fits the atmosphere rather than fighting it. Many are drawn in by the combination of styling and food, they want one team handling both the look and the catering, rather than coordinating separate suppliers. Most are based in or near Bath, Bristol and Somerset, though we travel further for the right event.
