Jeannie Jones is working Scottish GP and stand-up comedian. She is an experienced act, promoter, host and MC. She has over 10 years of experience running comedy nights. She has a wealth of contacts in the comedy community and the experience to bring comedy to your event.

Jeannie is also a motivational speaker, warm, likeable and ideal for corporate dinners and events. Her story of turning to stand-up comedy as a challenge after personal & professional failure is one to inspire professionals who put all their worth into their work and risk burnout and disillusionment with their career. Jeannie manages to balance life as a GP, mother and professional comedian.

Jeannie is also able to deliver speeches on medical topics with her characteristic wit. She has a particular interest in menopause, women’s health issues and maintaining good sexual function in relationships. Her last show at Edinburgh Fringe was called Aphrodisiac.
