Kingsfolk is a band that goes to weddings and parties to create a lively atmosphere and to lead the guests in an evening of dancing. The line up is usually, accordion, violin, bass and drums and we always have a caller to give everyone the dance instructions. We do all the well known dances, such as the Dashing White Sergeant, the Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow. Our repertoire also includes a wide range of folk tunes which we play as background music or as part of our performance.
