Live Artist - illustrations and bouquet painting

For the live painting I create a bespoke impression of your beautiful 'Bouquet of the Day', with guest participation on the 1st layer. With over 25 years' experience of creating Fine Art, this is a unique experience for you and your guests to observe the painting evolve during your event, and be presented to you on that same day. There are 3 canvas size options to choose from, and I am able to travel to any location in the UK or overseas. It is always a pleasure to be part of these special events and to create a very personal painting that is a lasting memory for you to treasure.

For the live illustrations, I take photos of your guests, and then work live to create an artistic image of them, capturing their 'Style of the Day' using pen and watercolour. These are created at speed, and a fun form of entertainment for guests to observe. The finished illustrations are presented as a favour for guests to take away with them. I offer a variety different packages, depending on the number of guests. Each image is created on high quality A5 size white card, presented in a protective sleeve.

I have painted all my life, with a career focused on teaching art to all ages, whilst also specialising in creating my own (usually botanical themed) paintings. I have a home studio in Kent, where I usually work on large scale pieces that use uplifting colours and can really brighten the mood of the room, and the person viewing my Art! My style is quite impressionistic, in a modern sense, and with the ability to work quickly under pressure, allows me to combine my love of creating art and working with people of all ages, to provide these types of live art experiences. My service is classified as 'entertainment' as all the guests can watch me working and chat with me, as the image evolves they are entertained to see it being created during the event. When complete, the original artwork is then presented to the client, for them to own forever.

I have been creating Fine Art, specialising in botanical painting for over 25 years. My choice of medium is acrylic paint, which is non toxic, no odour, and quick drying. I have recently enjoyed exhibiting my work in my home town of Tunbridge Wells in Kent, and spent the last few years building up my own own business of live botanical painting at weddings, alongside teaching Art to adults, running Art workshop days, and creating commission pieces. It is always an absolute pleasure to be part of these specials days and see the happiness my work brings!

My live art services are suitable for weddings, special celebrations, corporate events, business launch, interior design and fashion houses. I can adapt my creations to suit any specific requests, and I liaise with the clients a month in advance to the event day, to ensure the style, colour palette and any personal requests are catered for within the finished artwork.
