Our Story
Ever since I was young, I’ve loved capturing moments through art — the little gestures, the laughter, the emotions that make life special. Weddings, in particular, have always fascinated me: the joy, the romance, the unique stories of every couple.
I realised that weddings are full of beautiful, fleeting moments that often go unseen or unremembered. That’s when I decided to combine my love of illustration with my passion for celebrating love. I wanted to create something that captures the magic of a wedding in a single, timeless piece of art — a memory that couples and their guests can treasure forever.

Our Team
Hi, I’m Lola, the artist behind Lola Draws Weddings. I’m a professionally trained illustrator and former art teacher with years of experience creating live wedding sketches and custom artwork. I specialise in turning special wedding moments into timeless, personalised illustrations that couples can cherish forever.
Experience
I am a formally trained artist with a strong foundation in fine art and illustration. My qualifications include Level 2 in Life Drawing, A in GCSE and A-Level Art*, and I am proud to be an alumni of the University of Cambridge, where I further developed my artistic skills and creative approach.
I am also a trained art teacher, with years of experience guiding students while refining my own techniques. I have been creating art for many years, specializing in both custom wedding illustrations and live sketches.
My work has been recognized in the art world, including having pieces displayed at the Saatchi Gallery, showcasing my commitment to quality, creativity, and professional artistry. These experiences and qualifications inform every illustration I create, ensuring each piece is technically skilled, meaningful, and uniquely personal.
