Lola Porter is a London-based mezzo-soprano jazz vocalist with over a decade of vocal training and extensive live performance experience across a wide range of venues and events.

Performing a carefully curated repertoire spanning jazz standards and the Great American Songbook, Ella Fitzgerald classics, bossa nova and Latin standards, and timeless lounge and cocktail favourites, Lola brings warmth, elegance and professionalism to every performance. She adapts naturally to the mood and needs of every occasion — whether that's an intimate wedding ceremony, a drinks reception, a corporate dinner or an evening live set.

With live experience at venues including The Troubadour, The Dublin Castle, The Hope and Anchor and The Amersham Arms, as well as wedding and ceremony performances at Cashes Green Methodist Church and Malmesbury Abbey, Lola brings a breadth of experience and a genuine love of performing to every booking.

All bookings include a pre-event consultation, a fully bespoke set list, professional backing tracks and travel within 10 miles of London SE14. Public liability insurance is held. Lola is happy to learn specific songs on request and to discuss bespoke packages for any occasion.

Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. I began training as a vocalist over a decade ago, and from my very first performance knew that singing was what I was meant to do. I started out performing in indie and rock settings — grassroots gigs and intimate venues where I quickly learned how to hold a room and connect with an audience. Over time my passion for jazz and the Great American Songbook drew me in a new direction, and I began performing regularly at jazz jam nights across London, developing my repertoire and refining my style. The music of Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone has always been my greatest inspiration — songs written and performed with a timelessness and emotional depth that I find endlessly moving. Getting to bring that music to weddings, special events and live venues, and watching it transform the atmosphere of a room, is a privilege I never take for granted. I headlined The Troubadour in Earl's Court — one of London's most iconic venues — to an audience of over 150 people, a show I organised myself entirely. That moment confirmed everything. This is my career, built on my own terms, one performance at a time."

With over a decade of vocal training and years of live performance experience, I have built a broad and versatile career as a vocalist across a wide range of venues and events. Key milestones include headlining The Troubadour in Earl's Court — one of London's most iconic live music venues — to an audience of over 150 people, a show I organised and promoted entirely myself. I have performed at some of London's most respected venues including The Dublin Castle, The Hope and Anchor, The Amersham Arms and The New Cross Inn, as well as The Brunswick in Brighton. As a wedding and ceremony vocalist I have performed at Cashes Green Methodist Church and Malmesbury Abbey, receiving consistently glowing feedback from couples and guests. I perform regularly at jazz jam nights across London including Night Tales Loft in Hackney, Grow Hackney and The Magic Garden, maintaining an active and evolving performance schedule. I am currently studying BA Fine Art at Central Saint Martins, one of the world's most prestigious art schools, bringing a distinctive creative sensibility to my work as a performer.
