Lumina Events Ltd is a Northamptonshire-based event production company specialising in lighting, audio, video and technical production.

From intimate private events and weddings to live music, club nights, corporate events and larger productions, we provide the equipment, expertise and technical crew needed to bring events to life.

Our services include professional event lighting, lighting design and programming, PA and audio systems, LED video walls, lasers, special effects and technical event support. We can provide individual equipment hire or deliver a complete production package tailored to your event.

With experience working across live music venues, events and professional productions, we understand that reliable equipment is only part of the job. We combine quality equipment with experienced technicians and a practical, personal approach to ensure your event runs smoothly.

Lumina Events started from something I've been passionate about for years: live events, lighting and the entertainment industry.

Over the last few years I've had the opportunity to work in some great venues, alongside some brilliant people and on shows that have given me a huge amount of experience. I've worked as a lighting engineer, designer and operator, and I've always enjoyed the creative side of taking an idea and turning it into something people can actually experience.

About a year ago, I decided to properly pursue that passion and build something of my own. That's where Lumina Events came from.

I'm still involved in other business ventures, but Lumina gives me the opportunity to put the creative and technical side of what I do into something I'm genuinely passionate about.

I'm lucky to have made some really good friends in the industry along the way, and Lumina has grown around those relationships. I work with people I trust, bringing together the right equipment and the right people for each event.

For me, Lumina isn't just about hiring out equipment. It's about creating great experiences, working with good people and seeing an idea come to life.

My experience has come from actually being out there doing the work.

I've spent the last few years working with venues, artists, DJs and events, building experience as a lighting engineer, designer and operator. I've worked on everything from smaller venue shows and parties through to larger live events, and I've had the opportunity to work alongside some incredibly talented people.

I've worked with professional lighting systems, moving lights, LED fixtures, strobes, lasers and effects, as well as audio and wider event technology. I'm also experienced with lighting programming and operation, including Avolites Titan.

Every job I've done has taught me something different, and that's something I bring into every Lumina project. I'm still learning, still developing and still pushing myself to make every show better than the last.

I don't really have a single "typical" client, and that's one of the things I like about what I do.

I work with people who are putting on events and want them to look, sound and feel great. That can be a local pub putting on a DJ night, a music venue hosting a live act, a promoter putting together a club night, someone planning their wedding or a business organising a corporate event.

I also really enjoy working alongside other people in the industry. If another production company needs an extra lighting engineer, programmer, operator, technician or some additional equipment, I'm more than happy to get involved.

Whether it's a small local event or something much bigger, I like being involved in the process and helping people turn their ideas into something real.
