Mark Anthony Music

I am an experienced musician with nearly 2 decades experience playing live in various bands and as a solo covers artist. Now I am more of a solo artist playing pubs, festivals, birthdays, weddings and private events. My set does lean more to the britpop indie material just naturally as I was a teenager in that period of time but also play a mix of popular hits and I am willing to learn some tunes to fit in to any event. I am self contained with all my own equipment and depending on the occasion can play a chilled acoustic set or if you are looking for a more up beat singalong type set I can cater for that as well.

I am mainly a self taught musician as a result I have my own style with a lot of my influence coming from watching Noel Gallagher playing acoustic shows. I was a teenager in the 90s and was definitely caught up in the britpop scene and that is my 1st music love, although I generally have a broad range of music interests from Frank Sinatra to the Foo Fighters and every thing in between

Over the past 15 years I have gone from picking up a guitar learning the basics then being the shy rhythm guitarist of a rock band standing at the back to learning to sing and stand front and centre and be the entertainer so to speak. I have been lucky to play some decent size venues and play in front of some pretty decent crowds and I am very proud of that.

General pubs gigs local to myself and sunday afternoon summer gigs at pubs restaurant hotels etc. Private parties birthdays weddings etc where they want some music to set the tone of the event.
