Live Event Painter

About Merlin Porter Arts

Merlin captures the life and soul of your event in masterful ink and watercolours. Guests love to watch as Merlin paints both the people and place, often montaging different elements of the event as it happens. The paintings are displayed straight away for guests to gather around and is a great focal point for people to socialise and enjoy the art together. They also love to chat to Merlin about art and enjoy his upbeat and friendly personality. Afterwards the paintings provide a beautiful accomplished and personal piece of art to remember your event by and high res images can be printed as thank yous or simply shared online.

A great addition to our wedding!

Merlin is a lovely man and provided a fantastic service throughout our wedding day. He captured key moments, the ceremony, the wedding breakfast, our first dance and even quotes from the speeches in a wonderful piece of artwork. Then to top it all off, he even managed to squeeze in some self portraits for our guests. He took a lot on, but achieved everything to a high standard, with a smile on his face and even joined in with some dancing. Our guests really appreciated this touch to our wedding and we would highly recommend Merlin to anyone who is interested in capturing their day in a painting. I can't thank Merlin enough and I do wish him the very best in the future :).
