From exquisite wedding blooms to sophisticated corporate events and inspiring floristry classes, our passion for timeless beauty is visible in every creation. My approach to wedding flowers has always been led by one thing: understanding how a day should feel. When I begin working with a couple, I don’t start with a colour palette. I start with a conversation. At our first consultation, I’ll ask you to describe the atmosphere you’re hoping to create, how the day should feel for you, and how you’d like your guests to experience it. Those answers guide every decision that follows. The flowers are designed to support the setting, the flow of the day, and the overall tone, rather than compete for attention. My approach is thoughtful and grounded, shaped by experience and an understanding of how weddings actually unfold. The aim is always the same: flowers that feel entirely at home in the space and quietly elevate the day.
Our Story
Milston Flower Barn was built from a genuine love of bringing people together through flowers. I’ve always been drawn to the way thoughtful design can shift the atmosphere of a space, how colour, texture and scale can completely change how a room feels. What began as a creative pursuit gradually became a business focused on weddings and events, where the detail truly matters and every decision has purpose.
My background is rooted in hands-on experience, years of working with couples, and a commitment to refining both design and service. I’m inspired by seasonality, British-grown flowers, architecture and the character of each venue we work in. Above all, I’m motivated by creating work that feels considered and personal: floristry that quietly elevates a celebration without ever feeling generic.

Hello, I’m Susanne Kennedy, floral designer and owner of Milston Flower Barn. If you’ve recently found your way here, it’s lovely to have you. I create flowers for weddings and events, always aiming for designs that feel personal, relaxed, and in tune with their surroundings.
At Milston Flower Barn, everything starts with a conversation. From there, I’ll shape a design plan with hand-drawn illustrations to help you picture how it will all come together. I’m there throughout: from the first ideas to the final touches, helping with everything from table flowers to the overall look and flow of your day.
It’s a calm, collaborative process that gives space for ideas to grow and details to take shape naturally.
