The Art of the Impossible: Meet Mindsways Magic
We are Mindsways Magic, George and Alex, father-and-son duo. We are Mentalists which means that together, we use our special bond to create a blend of amazing, mental and magical illusions with psychological mysteries, which combine to bring unforgettable, thought-provoking moments for you and your guests.
We experiment and explore mysteries of the mind, the paranormal and the unexplainable. This means that you get to experience our demonstrations of mindreading, precognition, retrocognition, transmogrification, and transportation. We will perform dangerous stunts using influence and thought control with potentially truly risky results. You will ask yourself: Are your thoughts just your own? Is this truth or trickery?
This is all done in a lively entertaining, engaging and interactive manner right in front of you and your guests’ eyes: we have no screens and no machines, just you, us, and our mysteries.
For guests who may have never met, we act as the ultimate conversation starter, bridging gaps and getting the room mixing and mingling. For close-knit family and friends, we create special memories shared between loved ones.
Our goal is simple: to get your guests to put their phones away, step out of the ordinary, and share thought provoking and amazing "WOW" moments that you’ll always remember.
We have packages, including mental magic made for walkaround, strolling and close-up. We also have “Thoughts Allowed” shows of various lengths, suitable for stage or platform. Or a combination of both walkaround and shows.
So, welcome to our world of fun and pretend, a world where everything you know may get turned upside down. A world of illusion and impossibility, a world of mischief, make believe and deception. A world of psychology, misdirection and magic.

Our Story
We love working together, even if, sometimes in performance or on stage, our characters do not! We have been performing together professionally for over a decade and a half, and both of us feel so incredibly lucky to have the privilege of working with the other.
We combine Alex’s quick wit with George’s fun side, Alex’s passion for the odd and surreal with George’s knowledge and background of psychology and mentalism, and ultimately, we both bring our love, admiration and enjoyment of the unexplainable, the mystery of the paranormal and the awe-inspiring, thought-provoking, wonderful power of mental magic.
We combine Alex’s quick wit with George’s fun side, Alex’s passion for the odd and surreal with George’s knowledge and background of psychology and mentalism, and ultimately, we both bring our love, admiration and enjoyment of the unexplainable, the mystery of the paranormal and the awe-inspiring, thought-provoking, wonderful power of mental magic.
Our Team
We are Alex and George, father-and-son mentalism duo, and we love entertaining – we love sharing our mental magic and mysteries, enjoyed by all, and spending time together. For more than 15 years, we’ve been touring the country sharing wonder, laughter and mystery.
George’s background is in social psychology: he began performing magic when he needed a set of tools to connect with young people who had been excluded from mainstream social services. His love for magic stems from the power it has to transform lives, empower people with its probing questions and the way it brings people together.
Alex’s background is in the theatre: he has been performing on and off-stage since he was 11 years old (well over 25 years now) and found his obsession of magic and mystery from George, his dad. Alex loves magic because it opens up doors of possibilities, the way it acts as a bridge-builder and an icebreaker, and the way it lets him explore mental health, neurodiversity, and the stranger, fascinating and deeper mysteries of life.
Around the beginning of the 2010’s, George and Alex decided to work together as a pair of performers, both bringing different aspects of their interests and personalities together to form a greater whole than the sum of its parts. We bring together a passion and fascination for how the mind works, along with a sense of humour, a pull of the darker and more mysterious ways of the world, and a love of that strange, tangled and wonderful web of connection that makes us all human.

Experience
Together, we bring over 40 years’ worth of experience in magic, mind-reading, psychology, performance and professional entertainment. Our mental magic is always amazing, enjoyable, engaging, fun, and suitable for all ages and audiences – we pride ourselves on being an inclusive, clean, and appropriate act in all surroundings that bring people together and help create magical memories that your guests will be talking about for days, weeks, months and even years later.
Over the years, we have worked with and been trained by some of the world's greatest magicians and mentalists. We have spent time working with Jeff McBride and Eugene Burger from the prestigious Las Vegas Mind Magic & Mystery School, been trained by Rob Zabrecky and had the privilege of meeting, talking with and witnessing up-close and personal the live performances of the likes of David Blaine, Penn & Teller, David Copperfield and Derren Brown.
Over the years, we have worked with and been trained by some of the world's greatest magicians and mentalists. Typical Clients
Typically most people hire us for between 1 and 3 hours, for groups between 10 and 150 people. We are happy to work with all kinds of age ranges, but traditionally our style of magic works best with over-16's.
We do not require any equipment (unless we are on stage, in which case we will either use the venue's or reflect the hire cost in our quote) and have professional indemnity insurance cover. Usually, we will arrive at the chosen venue 30 minutes before our performance and use this time to set up.

Credentials
We are both proud members of Equity, the performers union. We are covered with full Public Liability Insurance up to £10,000,000 if necessary. We have trained, worked with and performed together with magicians and entertainers across the world, from places where Charles Dickens delivered his readings in London to the glitzy glamour of Las Vegas mentalism shows. We are currently working hard on becoming Members of the prestigious Magic Circle.

Arrived on time, worked the room, very well.
George and his son arrived on time and began their act. Response was very favorable and they provided a good highlight to our birthday party of 70 people. They worked the room very well and every table was covered. The room was very mobile with people refilling drinks, getting food and group of small children who followed the magicians around to watch the show and of course were included). Good value for money. Would happily recommend.
