I am DJ Jamy, and I provide two ways to make your event feel like a proper celebration: my DJ Live Show and Motown Magic, my high energy live Motown and soul band. You can book DJ only, band only, or the combo (DJ + band) depending on the vibe you want and how long you need the music covered.

DJ Jamy – DJ Live Show (DJ + Live Singing + Percussion) This is not a standard DJ set. I combine professional DJing and crowd reading with live singing and live bongo and percussion, plus warm guest interaction so the party feels hosted and fun. I am very versatile musically and can cover pop across the decades, party classics, Motown and funk, house, RnB, hip hop, afrobeats, reggaeton and Latin, always tailored to your guests and the flow of the night.

Motown Magic – Live Band (Duo to Full Band) Motown Magic brings the golden era of Motown, soul, funk and disco with standout live vocals, tight musicianship and a packed dancefloor setlist. We perform iconic classics from artists like Stevie Wonder, The Supremes, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, The Jackson 5, Earth Wind and Fire and more, and we tailor the setlist to your crowd so the dancefloor stays full. Flexible line ups are available from an energetic duo or trio (great for smaller stages and sound limiters) through to a full band for a big show feel.

Band + DJ Combo Perfect if you want live impact plus continuous music with no awkward gaps.

I am a DJ and live performer with a passion for creating unforgettable party atmospheres. Motown Magic was born out of a love for the timeless songs that bring people together — Motown and classic soul have a unique way of filling a dancefloor because everyone knows the words, the groove is infectious, and the energy feels instantly uplifting. Over the years, I have developed two complementary performance styles: as a DJ Live Show (mixing, live singing, and live percussion), and as the lead vocalist of Motown Magic (a flexible collective of professional musicians). This allows me to offer anything from an energetic duo for smaller spaces to a full band for a big show feel, or both together for full evening coverage. The goal has always stayed the same: deliver a proper party atmosphere with great musicianship, warm stage presence, and a setlist that feels personal to every event. Whether you want a DJ-led night with live elements, a classic Motown band experience, or a combination of both, I am here to make your celebration memorable and stress-free.

Motown Magic is made up of professional singers and musicians who perform regularly at weddings, private events, and corporate functions throughout the UK. Led by Jamy, we have delivered hundreds of live shows in venues ranging from private homes and marquees to hotels, country estates, pubs, clubs, and large event spaces.

We are known for keeping the dancefloor busy, reading the room, and making the night feel effortless for the client. Our shows are built around strong live vocals, great musicianship, and warm crowd interaction, with a setlist that blends classic Motown and soul with funk, disco, and party favourites.

We also have extensive experience working alongside venues, planners, and in-house production teams, and adapting to sound limiters, access restrictions, and tight changeovers without compromising the atmosphere. If you want full evening coverage, we can also offer a DJ or band + DJ combo, with the same team handling the technical side so everything runs smoothly.

I work with couples, families, and corporate teams who want a lively, feel-good entertainment experience that gets every generation engaged and on the dancefloor. Most of my bookings are weddings (drinks reception, evening party, full day packages), milestone birthdays and anniversaries, plus corporate events, awards nights, and Christmas parties.

I perform as a DJ Live Show (DJ + live singing + live percussion) or as the lead vocalist of Motown Magic (live band with male and female vocals, saxophone, and full Motown and soul repertoire). I can also offer both together — DJ Jamy + Motown Magic as a combo for full evening coverage. All options deliver high-impact entertainment with professional mixing, live interaction, and versatile music — Motown, soul, pop, dance, RnB, hip hop, afrobeats, reggaeton, Latin, and more — with great vocals, strong crowd energy, and a smooth, stress-free setup from arrival to pack-down.

I am also a great fit for venues with tighter space or sound restrictions, as I can scale both DJ and band lineups (duo, trio, or full ensemble) to suit your needs.
