Music & Mayhem started over 25 years ago with a simple idea: kids' parties shouldn't be boring, and parents shouldn't have to do all the work themselves. After years working in radio at Radio Wave 96.5 FM in Blackpool, holiday park entertainment in Majorca with Airtours/TUI, and as Entertainment Manager at Shearings Holidays, I'd seen what made events genuinely fun — and what made them flat. I took everything I'd learned about reading a room, keeping energy high, and getting people involved, and built a children's entertainment business around it. Twenty-five years later, we're still doing what we love — turning up at village halls, community centres and family homes across Lancashire and watching kids absolutely lose their minds with laughter. Every party is different and every child is different, but the goal is always the same: a day that the birthday child remembers forever, and a couple of hours where the parents can actually relax, enjoy a coffee, and watch their kid have the time of their life.
