Our Story
As a videographer, my passion for storytelling is rooted in the belief that every events, especially a wedding is a unique narrative waiting to be told. I do what I do because I love the challenge of capturing the raw, unscripted emotions that define a person's most important milestones, preserving them in a way that feels both cinematic and deeply personal.
How I Got Started My journey began with a fascination for the power of visual media to freeze time. I started NL-Videography with a focus on wedding cinematography, driven by the desire to provide couples with more than just a recording of their day, but a polished film that evokes the same feelings years later. Starting out, I spent countless hours honing my technical skills, from mastering camera movements to perfecting the art of "fly-on-the-wall" storytelling.
What Inspires Me I am inspired by the "quiet" moments, the nervous smile before a ceremony, the shared laughter between friends, and the scenic beauty of venues like Oaklands in East Yorkshire. I find inspiration in the unique energy of each couple and the challenge of translating their specific "vibe" into a visual format. Seeing a final film resonate with a client is what keeps me motivated to push the creative boundaries of event videography.

I’m Nick, the lead filmmaker behind NL-Videography. Based in East Yorkshire, I’ve spent my career capturing the "quiet" magic of wedding days, the unscripted laughter, the nervous glances, and the cinematic beauty of venues like Oaklands, Hackness Grange, Rise Hall, and many other well established venues.
But a great wedding film is only half the story. To give our couples the most seamless experience possible, I’ve partnered with a talented photographer to offer a complete visual package.

My goal is to be a "fly-on-the-wall" storyteller, blending into your wedding like a guest so I can capture the day’s energy as it naturally unfolds. Jay | Lead Photographer: When you book one of our Photo & Video Packages, you’ll be working with Jay. Jay is an incredible photographer who shares my documentary style philosophy. Because we work together frequently, we operate as a single, synchronized unit. There’s no clashing over "the best spot" or stepping into each other's shots just a smooth, collaborative process that ensures your photos and film feel like they belong together.
