NSC Entertainment

NSC Entertainment provides DJ entertainment for weddings, private parties and corporate events across North & West Yorkshire.

We’re a small business offering a personal service: you’ll deal directly with Andrew, the owner, throughout your enquiry and planning, and know who your DJ will be before booking.

We plan the music around your tastes, including favourite genres, must-play songs and anything you’d prefer us to avoid. On the night, we combine those preferences with reading the room and adapting to your guests. Our style is professional mixing with microphone use when needed, allowing your celebration and the music to take centre stage.

Before your event, we’ll arrange a consultation to confirm the important details, from timings and announcements to your first dance where applicable. We also coordinate with your venue over access and setup.

Our service includes professional sound and dancefloor lighting, with equipment suited to your venue and guest numbers. For couples wanting live entertainment alongside the DJ, we offer coordinated DJ & sax packages with one point of contact for planning.

Send us your date, venue, timings and a little about your event, and we’ll provide a clear quote explaining what’s included.

I’m Andrew, owner of NSC Entertainment. With over 20 years of DJ experience, the part I enjoy most is seeing people connect with the music and making an evening feel right for the people celebrating.

My approach is to listen first. Every couple, party host and organiser has different tastes and priorities, so I take time to understand what they want before planning the entertainment.

I believe good preparation and good DJing belong together. Clear communication beforehand helps you feel confident about the arrangements; reading the room on the night helps turn those plans into an evening your guests enjoy.

That’s the approach behind NSC Entertainment: personal service, thoughtful music planning and professional delivery, with your event at the centre of it all.

Owner Andrew Ledgard has over 20 years of DJ experience, providing entertainment for weddings, private parties and corporate events.

Andrew received the Wedding DJ Service of the Year 2022 award at the North of England Wedding Awards. NSC Entertainment has also provided DJ entertainment for corporate clients including Sky Bet, Porsche and PwC.

Our experience spans different venues, audiences and event formats across North & West Yorkshire. We combine advance music planning with the ability to read the room, respond to requests and adapt as the evening develops.

You can read verified customer reviews on Add to Event and further feedback on our website to hear how previous clients describe the service.

We work with wedding couples, hosts planning milestone birthdays and anniversaries, and organisers arranging corporate parties and celebrations.

Our clients value personal communication, clear arrangements and music that reflects their tastes while keeping their guests involved. They want an experienced DJ who prepares properly, works with the venue and can adapt the music on the night.

Whether you have a detailed music brief or need guidance, we’ll help you plan entertainment that suits your celebration.

NSC Entertainment is a member of the National Association of Disc Jockeys (NADJ).

We hold £10 million public liability insurance and use PAT-tested, professionally maintained equipment. Insurance and equipment-testing documentation is available for your venue on request.

We carry backup equipment and coordinate access, setup and timings with venues as part of our event preparation.
