About Nu Pix Photography

I am a documentary and portrait photographer based in Wigan, Greater Manchester, UK. Practising mainly with digital photography. I am a Batchelor of Arts with Honours and my work has been showcased within the Bradford Industrial Museum, The Bolton Museum, as well as being used within the 'We Are Bolton' project funded by the Mayor of Bolton, Cllr Lynda Byrne.

I have a natural approach to photography and do not rely heavily on postproduction. Having spent time researching and exploring family life, I stray away from the regular definition of the word ‘family’ and look at it from a father’s perspective engendering a male gaze.

I believe that photography is a very personal experience, which depicts the aspects of people’s lives that they choose to reveal.
