Papa Ji is a fresh, fast, high-energy street-food brand serving bold Asian-fusion dishes — loaded boxes, wraps, wings, burgers, paneer, and our award-winning chicken. Everything is cooked fresh, seasoned with our own spice mixes, and served with proper consistency and speed.

Our Story
I do this because great food brings people together. I started Papa Ji from my driveway during lockdown, serving proper fresh food at a time when everyone needed a bit of comfort and excitement. The response was massive, and it pushed me to turn a small idea into a full brand.
My background is food and operations — I ran six Subway stores for 17 years, so I’ve lived and breathed fast-paced service, team management, and consistency. Papa Ji lets me take all that experience and mix it with my own flavours, energy, and creativity.
What inspires me is seeing people try our food for the first time and light up. Fresh food, big flavours, and giving people a good experience… that’s what keeps me doing this every day. The brand has grown, the events have got bigger, but the reason I started is still the same.

Our Team
Papa Ji is run by me, Maneet, and a small team who know how to handle busy events and keep the quality sharp. I’m hands-on with everything — cooking, operations, training, and making sure every event runs right.
The team behind me are experienced, reliable, and trained in food safety, fast-service cooking, and customer care.
We keep it simple: work hard, cook fresh, and make sure every person who comes to the truck leaves happy. Everyone on the team knows the standard, and we all take pride in representing the Papa Ji brand wherever we go.

I’ve been in food and hospitality for over 17 years, building teams, running busy sites, and keeping standards tight. Before Papa Ji,
I managed six Subway stores with more than 70 staff, which gave me the grounding in operations, consistency, and service that I still rely on today.
Papa Ji started on my driveway during lockdown and has grown into a full brand with franchise locations, fixed stores, a food truck, and our own products now selling in supermarkets.
We’ve catered at stadiums, corporate offices, festivals, showgrounds, and major public events all over the UK.
The journey has picked up some strong milestones along the way:
