Pettah Street Kitchen is a family-run business inspired by the vibrant flavours, traditions, and warm hospitality of Sri Lanka. Founded by Imran Mannan, who brings over 20 years of hospitality experience, our journey began with a simple passion for sharing authentic Sri Lankan food and bringing people together through great flavours and genuine service.

After many years in the corporate world, our founder chose to follow a different path, believing that preparing fresh, wholesome food for others is one of life's greatest blessings. That belief remains at the heart of everything we do today. We are committed to serving food that is made fresh, full of flavour, and prepared with the same care and attention we would give to our own family and friends.

Our menu celebrates the rich and diverse cuisine of Sri Lanka, featuring aromatic rice dishes, homemade curries, street food favourites, and traditional recipes passed down through generations. Every dish is prepared using quality ingredients, carefully selected spices, and authentic cooking methods that capture the true taste of Sri Lankan home cooking and street food culture.

We are also proud to offer The Prawn Hub®, our signature seafood menu inspired by the beautiful coastline of Sri Lanka. Featuring premium king prawns, seafood rice boxes, spicy garlic prawns, and bold coastal flavours, The Prawn Hub® brings a unique seafood experience to any celebration. Each dish is freshly prepared and designed to showcase the vibrant seafood heritage of the island.

Pettah Street Kitchen was born from a passion for authentic street‑food flavours inspired by the bustling food culture of Pettah. Cooking has always been at the heart of what we do — bold spices, fresh ingredients, and the joy of serving people something unforgettable.

We started small, cooking for friends and local gatherings, and quickly realised how much people loved our piri piri chicken and chilli chicken rice. That inspired us to take the next step and bring these flavours to events across the UK.

What drives us is simple: great food, great energy, and the happiness of seeing people enjoy every bite. Our background in hospitality and street‑food cooking helps us deliver consistency, quality, and a friendly service that makes every event feel special.
