That’s where we come in. We’re John and Tanya, a photography and video couple who specialise in weddings and parties across the south of England.
Our style is relaxed and candid. We capture the big moments, and also the quiet ones that make your day yours: a nervous smile before the ceremony, a grandparent’s hand on yours, the joke your best man didn’t plan. We stay in the background and shoot without flash, so you can enjoy your day without feeling like you’re being photographed. We’re especially good with shy couples.
You can rely on us. We always arrive early to set up our equipment and get to know the venue, and we plan the day with you beforehand so there are no surprises.
Afterwards, your photographs and video arrive in a private online gallery. You approve them first, then share access with your guests, who can view, download and order prints themselves.

Our Story
We’ve loved photography for as long as we can remember. John started out capturing the energy of live bands, where you get one chance at the moment. Tanya learned patience and an eye for detail photographing wildlife, where you wait quietly for the shot. Together, those two backgrounds are exactly what makes a good wedding team: John catches the action as it happens, and Tanya spots the small details most people miss.
We love to shoot together. Weddings are happy places to be, and we genuinely enjoy working side by side. (And no, we don’t compete over who gets the best shot of the day. Much.) With two of us, you get more angles, more moments and nothing missed.
Our other work keeps us sharp. Tanya shoots beautiful food photography and John photographs property, and that variety lets us invest in top-quality equipment. It means we can shoot photographs and video in dim churches, candlelit receptions and dark dance floors without flash or strobes, so the atmosphere stays natural and you barely notice us.
Between us, we have five grown-up children, so we approach every wedding as if it were one of their big days. No detail is overlooked, and nothing is too much trouble. We’ll plan your day with you beforehand, then stay quietly in the background so you can enjoy it.

Exceeded expectations
I booked John to take photos at the opening night of an art exhibition. Not only did John and Tanya take some excellent “people shots” but they also prepared some videos that we have been able to use for Instagram and now for a website - they truly captured the essence of the event to make it memorable and this has received positive feedback from people. We hope to use them again in the near future for other events.
Daughters 21st Birthday
Excellent service from John (videography) and his wife (photographer). Went for a combined package and photo’s and video were excellent. Before the event we filled out a detailed form to summarise the event and provide all the key details. A few days before the event we also had a call with John to go through key details on the night including who the key guests were as well as certain activities on the night we wanted videoed. On the night John and his wife captured excellent images and scenes and after just 2 weeks uploaded excellent pictures onto a file sharing site enabling us to send the link to guest so they could view / download pictures that they wanted. Great service and would thoroughly recommend.
Wouldn't have been the same without you!
A last minute post found these guys, who were nothing short of phenomenal. My wedding at my beloved football club and only 3 days notice, Photograf came to the rescue and made sure we were so happy. Not just the pictures and videos, but as people they are the most down to earth and lovely. Ensuring we were ok, dealing with the venue, and so friendly to our guests. We couldn't recommend more
