About Price of My Pig

Price of my Pig is a lively five-piece band blending funky rhythms with more traditional folk melodies. Accordion/caller; Fiddle; Guitar; Bass and Drums make for a full and lively band.

We have a very entertaining and inclusive caller who will take you through the dances with a real sense of fun.

We bring PAT-tested PA and lighting, insurance and heaps of energy.

Our Story

Created by award-winning musician and caller, Ben Farmer, Price of My Pig was set up as an alternative to the very traditional-sounding ceilidh bands, with effects pedals, funky drums and so on. We have played well over 400 ceilidhs and have honed the dances and music to fit a variety of events for ceilidh experts and novices alike.

Our Team

Ben F is our expert caller, accordionist and band leader Paul F is an excellent celtic fiddler Paul B is a wonderful bouzouki and guitarist James is fabulous on the fretless bass and, Tony is a versatile, brilliant drummer

All musicians have years of experience performing for audiences in a wide variety of styles and situations, from Theatre and Film to kids' parties and Stadia
