ReptiZoo Rescue & Encounters was born from a genuine passion for animals and a mission to make a difference to the lives of exotic creatures in need.

Based in North Lanarkshire, Scotland, we are a not-for-profit animal rescue and educational encounter organisation, providing a safe and loving home to a wonderful variety of animals, many of whom have come from rescue or rehoming situations.

We believe every animal deserves the best possible care, and that education is one of the most powerful ways to encourage respect, understanding and compassion for wildlife.

What makes ReptiZoo special is that we bring our incredible animals directly to you! From snakes, lizards and tortoises to tarantulas, frogs, insects and small mammals, our encounters offer unforgettable opportunities to get up close with some truly fascinating creatures.

Whether we're visiting schools, care homes, birthday parties, festivals or community events, our aim is always the same: to inspire curiosity, create lasting memories and help people discover just how amazing these often misunderstood animals really are.

Every booking helps support the ongoing care and welfare of the animals we love. When you book with ReptiZoo, you're not just booking entertainment – you're supporting a rescue with a purpose!

ReptiZoo Rescue & Encounters has extensive hands-on experience in exotic animal care, rescue, education and public engagement.

Our knowledgeable team regularly delivers animal encounters across Scotland, from intimate birthday parties and educational workshops to large-scale festivals, community celebrations and corporate events.

We have worked with colleges, schools, nurseries, additional support needs groups, youth organisations, care homes and healthcare settings, adapting our experiences to suit different ages, abilities and requirements.

Our experience also includes delivering practical animal handling and husbandry education to college students, interactive stage presentations, animal-assisted activities and specialist encounters for larger audiences.

We are proud to have worked with a wide variety of organisations and venues, including educational establishments, children's healthcare services, visitor attractions and community organisations.

As a not-for-profit rescue, we have extensive practical experience caring for a diverse collection of exotic animals, including reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, birds and small mammals.

Fully licensed, insured and PVG checked, we combine professional standards with a genuine passion for animal welfare and conservation education.

Whether entertaining hundreds of visitors at a public event or helping one nervous child confidently meet their first snake, we pride ourselves on creating safe, engaging and unforgettable experiences.

We work with a wonderfully diverse range of clients throughout Scotland, providing bespoke animal encounters for events of all sizes.

Our typical bookings include children's and adult birthday parties, school and nursery visits, college workshops, additional support needs (ASN) sessions, youth clubs, Scouts and Guides, charity events, corporate functions, team-building activities, festivals, galas, fairs, fêtes and large public events.

We also provide animal-assisted activities and therapeutic encounters for care homes, hospices, hospitals and community support organisations, alongside specialist animal appearances for film, television and promotional events.

For larger gatherings, we offer interactive animal displays, rotating meet-and-greet sessions and educational stage presentations, allowing guests to discover and learn about our amazing animals.

Every experience is tailored to the audience, venue and event requirements, with an emphasis on inclusion, education, safety and animal welfare.

From small private celebrations to events welcoming hundreds of visitors, ReptiZoo brings something truly unique to every occasion!
