Ricky Shelton

Live singer · music before & between sets

A high-impact live set that runs from timeless classics to today's biggest hits — because Ricky doesn't just perform, he brings the party. Twenty years of reading a room in Lancashire and the North West.

What you get when you book me A live singer for the night, with the gaps either side of the set taken care of too.

Live singer A full set sung live, chosen around your event and your crowd — songs from every decade starting with the fifties, right through to some contemporary hits.

Music before, between & after your set — included While guests are arriving and once the live singing wraps up, I'll keep a full professional DJ service going myself, so the vibe never drops. This comes as part of the booking, not a separate cost.

You'll also get a list of over 100 songs to choose from for the live set itself, alongside picking whatever you'd like played before and between sets. I'll usually still read the room on the night and steer things toward whatever's landing best, but starting from your choices means the set is built around your event from the outset.

The night, not just the music Anyone can press play. The difference is in knowing when to lift a room and when to leave it alone.

Before the date I'll call you to go through the running order, your must-plays and your absolute no's. On the night, your guests are welcome to come and ask for something too. It's their night as much as yours.

I have been singing professionally for over twenty years, with a catalogue that spans multiple decades and genres. That's what lets me read a room and lift it — the mix in the crowd changes from one event to the next, and the set changes with it.
