Some performers show up with a setlist. Rollo shows up with decades of experience reading a room. He's performed at corporate events, weddings, private parties, restaurants and venues across Hertfordshire and the South East — including Belushi's, The Botanist and the Guinness Brewery Open Gate. He's also appeared in independent productions in London and LA.

A recent performance clip picked up 360,000 views on Instagram, and Supertramp's John Helliwell personally praised his rendition of Goodbye Stranger at a wedding last year.

I started in my early twenties as a Ricky Martin tribute act — which meant travelling the world, performing in clubs and corporate events across different countries before most people my age had left their hometown. It was the best education in live performance you could ask for.

Then I got completely obsessed with acting. I trained in London and went on to get my MFA in acting for film in LA, appearing in countless plays and independent movies — one of which went on to receive real critical acclaim. The stage became home in every sense.

Since then I've sung in bands, played festivals, worked pubs and private functions across the UK — and through all of it, the guitar has been the constant. I've been playing since I was eleven years old.

I've settled as an acoustic act now and honestly, it feels like where I was always heading. The intimacy of it suits me. It's just me, the guitar, and the room — and after everything I've done, I know how to work a room. What keeps me doing it? I just love music. Genuinely. I love entertaining people, I love events, I love the moment when a song connects with an audience and you can feel it. That never gets old.

With over twenty years of professional performance experience, Rollo has built a career that spans continents, disciplines and stages of all sizes.

Highlights include a corporate performance for Sony in Cancun, Mexico, a tour of Denmark, and appearing live on Sri Lankan national television and radio for a major broadcast event. In the UK he has performed at Caesars Palace in Streatham and countless venues across the South East.

As an actor, he appeared in the independent film Where Is She Now? which went on to win 31 international awards. Rollo received a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at a New Orleans film festival.

More recently, Supertramp saxophonist John Helliwell personally complimented his performance of Goodbye Stranger at a wedding — a moment that found its way onto Instagram and picked up 360,000 views. Two decades in, the passion for performing live is exactly what it was at the start. It just comes with considerably more experience behind it.
