Ruby Robinson Music offers a truly refined and memorable musical experience for weddings and special events. Based between London & Essex, Ruby is a distinguished jazz vocalist whose warm, expressive voice, elegance and dynamic stage presence have made her one of the UK’s most exciting live performers.
With over a decade of professional experience, Ruby has graced prestigious stages across the UK and internationally - including sold-out performances at Crazy Coqs in Piccadilly, headline shows at Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s, and appearances at renowned jazz venues from Café de Paris to New York City’s Swing 46 Jazz Club. She has also featured as a guest vocalist at the Big Band Blitz 1940’s Gala showcased on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.
Drawing inspiration from the iconic jazz greats such as Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Peggy Lee, Ruby’s repertoire spans the Great American Songbook and classic swing, creating the perfect atmosphere - whether you’re planning elegant background sets, cocktail hour jazz, romantic wedding moments or celebratory evening music.

Our Story
I’ve always been drawn to music that tells a story. I grew up captivated by the great jazz vocalists - the emotion of Ella Fitzgerald, the intimacy of Billie Holiday, the glamour of Peggy Lee - and I fell in love with the way timeless songs can instantly transform a room.
I began performing at a young age and have spent over a decade developing my craft, studying the Great American Songbook and building a career rooted in live performance. What started as a deep love for vintage jazz and swing has grown into a full-time profession performing at weddings, theatres, corporate events and renowned London venues including Crazy Coqs and Upstairs at Ronnie Scott’s.
What inspires me most is connection - seeing guests pause mid-conversation to really listen, watching couples share their first dance, or feeling the energy of a packed room responding to live music. I believe music should elevate a moment, not just fill space.
Every event is different, but my aim is always the same: to bring warmth, elegance and authenticity to every performance, and to create an atmosphere people remember long after the final song.
