Sajis

Saji's Restaurant We’re an award-winning Indian food business based in Gateshead, known for bold flavours, quality ingredients, and proper home-style cooking done right. We’ve been proudly featured in the Chronicle multiple times and were named Top Indian Restaurant by TripAdvisor, thanks to the support of our amazing customers.

Alongside our restaurant in Gateshead, you’ll also find us down on the Quayside every Sunday, serving up favourites that have made us a local go-to. Everything we offer is prepared to the highest standards, with food cooked in a 5-star hygiene-rated kitchen.

Beyond our regular locations, we love getting out and about — you’ll catch us at selected festivals, events, and private hires when the opportunity arises. Whether it’s a street food crowd, a special event, or a private celebration, we bring the same care, flavour, and passion every time.
