Our Story
My name is Pete Salvatore Signole.
My mum is Italian and comes from Napoli, and my dad is from Preston in Lancashire. I grew up in the Midlands, with two strong cultures in one home.
From my mum’s side, there was always music, singing, and passion. Italian songs, big voices, and stories told with feeling. From my dad’s side came a love of British humour, warmth, and getting on with people. Music was always playing in our house.
As a child, I heard a lot of classic swing and crooner music. Songs by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, and others were part of everyday life. This music felt natural to me. It was calm, stylish, and full of emotion.
My middle name, Salvatore, comes from my Italian family. It connects me to my roots and felt like the right name to perform under. That’s where Sal Sings Swing comes from.
When I sing these songs now, I’m sharing the music I grew up with. Music that brings people together, brings back memories, and makes people feel comfortable and at home.

Our Team
Sal Sings Swing is a solo performance led by me, Pete Salvatore Signole.
I manage all aspects of the act myself, including performance, bookings, client liaison, set-up, and promotion. This means clients deal directly with the performer from first contact through to the event itself, ensuring clear communication and a reliable, personal service.
Where required, I work with trusted external suppliers for sound, lighting, or larger events, but the performance itself is always delivered by me as a one-man show.
