I am Bilal Köse, Britain's first established resident live sand artist, with over 15 years of experience. I perform live sand art across the UK and internationally, combining storytelling, music and live illustration to create emotional, memorable moments for events of all sizes.

What makes my work different is simple. Most sand artists are flown into the UK from abroad through agencies, which adds travel costs and delays. I live and work here in the UK, so you book me directly, with no agency fees and no language barrier.

I have performed at Harrods, Soho Theatre, the University of Oxford, Manchester Hall and Newcastle Cathedral, and I was commissioned by Skimstone Arts for UNITY Festival at the Great North Museum. Every performance is designed around your theme, your story and the feeling you want to leave in the room, whether it is a wedding love story, a corporate brand message or a community celebration.

I also offer live name calligraphy and sand keepsakes. During your event I can write your guests' names live in flowing sand or on calligraphy paper for them to take home, a personal touch for hosts who want something different and memorable.

I bring all specialist equipment and work closely with you from the first idea to the live performance, ensuring a smooth setup and a high quality visual experience that truly stands out. No two shows are ever the same.

I have always been drawn to creating art that moves people. Sand art is rare in the UK, and almost no one performs it live and permanently from here. Most sand artists are flown in from abroad for one-off events, so I wanted to change that and build something truly bespoke, made here and bookable directly. Over more than 15 years I have developed my own style, combining sand, light, music and storytelling, and alongside it I work with calligraphy and traditional techniques. What drives me is simple: the moment a room falls silent and a story begins to appear in sand. I am proud to be Britain's first established resident live sand artist.

Over 15 years of live sand art experience across the UK and internationally. I have performed at Harrods, Soho Theatre, the University of Oxford, Manchester Hall, Birmingham Council House and Newcastle Cathedral. I was commissioned by Skimstone Arts to create original work for UNITY Festival at the Great North Museum, and I was a featured performer at MACFEST, the Queen's Award winning Muslim Arts and Culture Festival. My work has been covered by independent press including Manchester Wire and North East Bylines.

I work with couples planning weddings, companies hosting corporate events and brand launches, charities running fundraising galas, schools and care homes, and families marking milestone birthdays and anniversaries. My clients range from intimate gatherings of twenty guests to large events of several hundred. They have one thing in common: they want a moment their guests will never forget, something more personal and memorable than standard entertainment.

I am a professional, fully insured live performer with public liability cover, and I can provide a technical rider and risk assessment for venues and events teams. A DBS check is available on request for school and care home bookings. I am Britain's first established resident live sand artist, performing this art form permanently from within the UK rather than travelling in for one-off bookings.
