I come to your event and draw extremely funny caricatures. People genuinely find them hilarious and they aren't offensive or grossly exaggerated.

I get a LOT of people drawn in the time I'm there (well I do try) - couples, singles, groups, families, young, old - any combination really - and they don't have to pose, or freeze, or stop what they're doing. They can act naturally - talk, drink, laugh, pull a silly face (happens a lot) and just enjoy themselves while I draw them at supersonic speed. The emphasis is on fun and trying to make sure every drawing has its own individual character. I also like to mingle with everyone, for example going table to table, so nobody has to queue up.

I've been working as a "live" caricaturist for ages (I started off by drawing people in pubs, learning the hard way in real life) and so I've got plenty of experience and I can work easily under pressure.

I don't draw from photos or use pencil to sketch the drawing first - I go straight ink on to card which people think is very brave but it means I get as many done as humanly possible!

Everyone gets a sturdy plastic wallet to keep their drawings safe in case of *accidents*. I see people years later and they tell me their pictures are framed and treasured. I've even been known to draw people twice if their picture gets *mislaid* amid all the jollities.

I use the amazing Pentel Brushpen which gives great results in permanent black ink on A4 card. In fact Pentel like me so much as an occasional "ambassador" they send me pens to see what I think of them!
