We are a mobile barista service bringing exceptional hospitality directly to your event. Serving locally roasted coffee and homemade cakes, we offer far more than just great drinks. Our services are fully bespoke and can be tailored to suit your exact requirements.
Our little vintage Citroën van creates a beautiful backdrop for any occasion and naturally draws guests in - the perfect focal point for photos and conversation. From relaxed gatherings to elegant celebrations, we help set the scene as well as serve.
Afternoon teas can be served in our pretty vintage crockery, adding a touch of nostalgia and charm. We can also act as the extra pair of hands every host needs: pouring wine and fizz, serving beer, making espresso martinis or G&Ts, keeping things tidy, and ensuring everything runs smoothly - so you can truly relax and enjoy your celebration with your guests.
We can bring the following services to your event:
♥ Barista coffee and home-made cake (menu on request) selection of tea, hot chocolate made from chunks of real Belgian chocolate (available in a range of delicious flavours) and a selection of refreshing cold drinks ♥ Alcohol license to provide and serve alcohol of your choice, or we can serve and pour yours ♥ Espresso Martinis, freshly made to order and served in cocktail glasses ♥ Afternoon teas with beautiful vintage china, we even have our gorgeous vintage gramophone with 1930s music if required! ♥ Dry hire with a member of staff
So whether it’s a corporate event to treat your colleagues, a special milestone celebration, baby shower, hen-do, wedding or garden party, if you have an idea then we can bring it to life!

Our Team
Hi, my name is Alex, I own and run Tarte au Citroen. I will be your first point of contact, the baker of your homemade cakes and I look forward to serving you at your event! I want our service to be just so, so any ideas you have please discuss them with me to ensure we deliver a bespoke, personal service that suits your requirements. We want everything to run as smoothly as possible and for certain events I call upon my friends Jo and Rachel to help alongside me. We absolutely love what we do, so we will always be serving with a smile and happy to have a chat with our customers (when appropriate!) Behind the scenes my husband Ricky helps with the logistics, he's the silent partner that I couldn't do without!

Over the last 3 years we have provided a variety of catering services for a range of events including weddings, private parties, corporate events and public events. Examples of these are:
♥Provided our coffee and cake service for Harrods Aviation at Stansted Airport as a well-being treat to the staff.♥Hire of van to star in Coronation Street for a couple of episodes.♥Smaller garden party of 30-40 people for a special 10th wedding anniversary serving hot drinks only.♥Providing & setting up a full afternoon tea, served on vintage crockery for 50 guests celebrating an 80th birthday held at their home, discreetly being the extra pair of hands to help clear & wash up, as well as serving people their own food & drink contributions (happy to do this alongside a booking where logistically practical).♥3 day event hosted by local army barracks during their annual Sapper Games event.♥Beautiful event for a staff Christmas Party for up to 70 guests held at a country home, providing espresso martinis, mulled wine, hot drinks and a selection of brownies & cookies.

Quality of service, cakes and coffee is fantastic!
We booked Tarte au Citroen as a company "thank you" to our employees and we were not disappointed! The coffee was great, the hot chocolate decadent and cakes an indulgent treat. Not only this, the set up was fab, the van really cute and tables and chairs were supplied too! The range of cakes was superb, with everyone catered-for including vegan, gluten free and nut free options. They really are the whole package. I would highly recommend.

Wonderful service, yummy coffee!
Kate and 'Nicole' were a brilliant part of our event. They offered a vintage, homely feel and produced delicious coffee and cakes for affordable prices. I will definitely keep Tarte Au Citroen in mind for future events, and would recommend their services to anyone looking for that added element of class at their event. Definite thumbs up!
