About The Big Butty Bar

The Big Butty Bar is an independent food pop-up dedicated to the chip butty. A great British favourite re-imagined with all the traditional charm and nostalgia you'd expect from such a dish. What would your ideal chip butty consist of? A soft, floury white bap or maybe fresh tiger bread? Topped with cheese and dunked in a bowl of gravy or layered with pulled ham hock and roasted garlic? Have you ever tried a roast dinner in a chip butty? The possibilities are endless but at the heart of every dish are hand cut, twice cooked Maris Piper chips and hearty bread.

At The Big Butty Bar, we believe that good food tastes better when served with love and a smile too! Owned and run by a British couple with a passion for food, personalising The Big Butty Bar experience for every customer is important to us. We are truly passionate about good food and the social gateway it opens up for people of all ages. Our menu is completely customisable to your preferences and dietary needs too so let us know all about your tricky requirements and we will try our best to exceed expectations.

Lovely people, yummy butties

Firstly, arranging the event was reassuring & communication was great. The set up was very professional & they were completely self sufficient & unobtrusive. The chip butties were gorgeous, the toppings & fillings inventive & delicious. All the food was fresh & cooked to order & very generous helping. I can not recommend Brad & Katie highly enough. Great stuff!
