We are an award winner – Prestige Award 2026 'The best cupcake bakery in West Yorkshire' – an artisan bakery in Leeds. We focus on using natural ingredients without artificial elements or additives.

All recipes are developed personally, and we cater to all dietary needs: dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan and vegan gluten-free cupcakes, birthday and wedding cakes.

We don't just sell cakes but fulfil your dreams and help you plan according to your needs.

The story behind The Cupcake Florist started in Hungary. Our baker was born and raised in Hungary before moving to the UK in 2013. Baking has always been a big part of her life, and over time that passion developed into the business you see today.

Before becoming a cake maker, she worked as a maths teacher. That background might seem quite different from baking, but the attention to detail and precision involved in both have certainly come in handy.

The Hungarian influence is still part of The Cupcake Florist today. It comes through in some of the flavours and ideas behind the cakes, alongside the modern designs and techniques we've developed here in Yorkshire.

The business is now based in Farsley, Leeds, where we make cakes and cupcakes for all sorts of occasions. Being a small independent business means we get to know what our customers are looking for.
