Hi! I’m Gill, and I am an Independent Celebrant based in Newton-le-Willows

My mission is to create ceremonies that people didn’t realise were possible. Ceremonies that include whatever you want, are held wherever you want, and most importantly - are just what you want! I am a warm and friendly person, and people tell me I am calm and easy to work with. I have a background in adult education, so I am especially fond of sprinkling a bit of extra magic on my ceremonies for families and guests that are neurodivergent. Think of me as the teller of your stories and your advocate in all situations. There is also no “normal” in my ceremonies - if you wanna do it, let’s make it happen. I also know though that I know that lots of people don’t know where to start - well [enter me].

Choosing me as your celebrant means choosing someone who will help you feel completely at ease and free to be your authentic selves. With me, there’s no such thing as “normal” – just your way of celebrating life’s amazing moments. I’ll take time to listen, understand what matters most, and shape a ceremony that flows at your pace, with calmness and joy at its heart. Nothing staged or forced – simply a meaningful reflection of who you are, created with care and designed to make you and your loved ones feel truly celebrated.
