The Magic Mushroom

The Magic Mushroom is a unique mobile catering business operating from a professionally converted horse trailer.

We serve specialty coffee alongside a full food menu including loaded fries, hash browns , king oyster healing bowl and soup, fresh juices and homemade desserts and our signature range of functional mushroom drinks.

We have extensive experience trading at major UK festivals and large-scale events, including Boomtown, Wilderness, Victorious, Boardmasters as well as smaller independent events.

Our setup is colourful, distinctive and designed to stand out, with a strong focus on good-quality food and drinks, friendly service and offering something a little different from a typical catering unit.

We’re now also looking for suitable regular pitches, markets, local events and other trading opportunities where The Magic Mushroom would be a good fit.

The Magic Mushroom started with a simple idea: to create something genuinely different from the usual mobile coffee and catering experience.

What began as a converted horse trailer has gradually developed into a distinctive little business built around speciality coffee, handmade desserts, fresh drinks and a love of mushrooms – both as food and for their fascinating functional qualities.

I built the trailer and developed the concept myself, learning and refining everything through trading at events and some of the UK’s largest festivals. That experience has given me a huge amount of practical knowledge, but more importantly it has given me the confidence to know exactly what The Magic Mushroom does best.

Everything is centred around quality, character and creating an experience people remember. From proper barista coffee and adaptogenic mushroom drinks to handmade cheesecakes, fresh Pineapple Express and our mushroom-based food, I want what we serve to be a little unusual while still being genuinely delicious.

After several years on the festival circuit, I’m now bringing The Magic Mushroom to more private events, weddings, corporate events and smaller gatherings, where I can offer the same personality and quality in a much more tailored setting.

For me, it has never just been about selling coffee or food. The Magic Mushroom is something I’ve built from the ground up, and I genuinely enjoy seeing people discover it for the first time.
