The Pizza Rocket

The Pizza Rocket provides premium wood-fired pizza catering for weddings, private parties, corporate events and large events across Somerset, Bristol and the South West.

Our pizzas are freshly prepared and cooked on site in our wood-fired oven, using long-fermented dough, homemade tomato sauce and quality Italian ingredients. Our standard menu includes Margherita, Salami Picante (our posh pepperoni) and Marinara, with fresh rocket, chilli oil, truffle oil, hot honey and our homemade garlic & herb dip included.

We cater for everything from smaller private celebrations to events serving hundreds of guests, and can tailor the service to suit your event. We regularly cater at weddings, schools, corporate events, markets and large public events.

Our custom-built Pizza Rocket trailer also makes a fantastic feature at an event — guests can watch their pizzas being stretched, topped and cooked fresh in front of them.

We offer vegetarian and vegan options, as well as gluten-free bases where required. Please note that although we take care when preparing gluten-free pizzas, our setup is not suitable for coeliacs due to the presence of flour in our working environment.

The Pizza Rocket started from a simple love of really good pizza and the idea of bringing proper wood-fired pizza directly to events.

Over the years we’ve developed our dough, ingredients and service while catering at everything from weddings and private parties to schools, corporate events, markets and large public events.

As the business has grown, we’ve continued to invest in what we do, most recently with our new custom-built Pizza Rocket trailer, designed specifically to let us produce great pizza quickly while still making every pizza fresh in front of our customers.

We’re still just as obsessed with the details — from our long-fermented dough and homemade tomato sauce to finding great ingredients and constantly improving the pizzas we serve.

For us, the best part is creating a relaxed, sociable style of catering where guests can see their food being made, smell the wood-fired oven and enjoy a genuinely great pizza straight from the heat.

The Pizza Rocket holds a 5-star Food Hygiene Rating and is fully insured for professional event catering. Our team are trained in food hygiene and allergen awareness, and we maintain the appropriate documentation required for weddings, corporate events, schools and large public events.
