The Stage Hire Company started inside Illumination Events, an event production company founded by James and Jazz. Building stages for conferences, festivals, weddings and brand pop-ups was always a core part of what we delivered, and as more clients asked for staging on its own, we saw the need for a dedicated service.

So we created The Stage Hire Company, a trading entity of Illumination Events, focused entirely on staging. You get the same production crew and the same standards, now available to any event that needs a stage.

Because we come from a production background, we don't just drop off a platform. We think about sightlines, access, safety and how the stage looks on the night, because we know what it takes to make an event run smoothly.

Through Illumination Events, we can deliver the full production around it if you need more than a stage.

With over 10 years’ experience delivering stages, we know what it takes to get a build right, whatever the venue or weather.

In 2026 alone, our trailer stage was used at 35 events between May and August, often with several bookings each week, at festivals, sporting events, charity fundraisers and corporate occasions.
