About The Wood Oven

Our Story
It all started down at the local on a winter’s night with a beer and friends. We got chatting about wood ovens and what they can do! We were hooked and our passion for pizza was ignited!

The next step for us was obvious, we built an oven in the garden and with the help of our friends and family, got practising, combining and perfecting the superior taste of our wood-fired pizza.

We then flew to Italy, got engaged! (Yes, over pizza) and attended pizza school to learn from the experts….The Wood Oven was born.

Now we’re on the road, doing what we love, in our cherished van, making pizzas in 500°c of dough-searing heat, making sure good times and fresh tastes are had wherever we are.
