About True Steel Band

True Steel forms a unique blend of steelpan musicians bringing musical journeys that cannot be forgotten. All musicians of our band have been performing steelpan music together for over 10 years.

When it comes to our music, we have hundreds of different songs in our repertoire and we play a bit of everything from traditional calypso and reggae to classical and R&B. Our aim has always been to make music fun for everyone of all ages and backgrounds.

We play as a duo, trio, quartet or quintet.

Typical Clients

As a band, we specialise in just about every occasion. Most often, we perform at weddings, birthdays, private parties, funerals, anniversaries, community events and corporate events.

Brilliant!

True Steel Band made our party extra extra special. Leo and Evan entertained us for over 3 hours with catchy music adding a lovely sunny vibe to what became a chilly and breezy day. A great sound to add a great atmosphere, everyone loved it. Leo was efficient to communicate with. An excellent experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend. Thank you.

Wonderful addition to our corporate Summer BBQ

We booked True Steel for our event in August and I'm so pleased we did. Leo was great communicating with me before the event and provided all paperwork quickly. On the day, the band turned up on time, were friendly and played brilliantly, they added a great vibe and everyone commented on how awesome it was to have a live steel band at the event. I highly recommend True Steel for your event!

Great Music

Outstanding!!! The perfect festive feel.

We had the pleasure of having Leo and his band perform at our charity event, and they were truly incredible. Their music was uplifting and created a warm, positive atmosphere that helped our guests relax and take their minds off their challenges.
