About Truly Torta

We are an authentic Mexican pop up street food catering business based in North Shields, North Tyneside. We offer a range of Mexican foods such as Tortas, Tacos, Quesadillas & More... Meat & vegetarian options are always available on our menus.

Available for outdoor pop up as well as kitchen takeovers. Should you have a venue that has a kitchen facility however not used for your event then we can work this too. Kitchen takeover...

After spending 9 weeks in the authentic Pacific side of Mexico we were inspired by the array of street food available. Being our favorite place to visit we brought our love for Mexico and our passion into creating Truly Torta.

We are a husband and wife team who have a combined 24 year in the food industry. If you are looking for a passionate team who serve the very best in Mexican flavours then get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

Filling Mexican food with attention to detail

Truly Torta catered my 40th birthday party at the weekend. They were very easy to deal with, replying to emails and I liked that they were happy to cater for the children too. The food itself is filling and delicious. As each sandwich is handmade, it does take a while to make them but there was a buzzer/pager system so my guests could still enjoy the party while waiting for their order. I would highly recommend Truly Torta.
