Ukrainian Family Kitchen

We are a family-run street food business bringing authentic Ukrainian home-style cuisine to the UK festival scene. Our concept is warm, welcoming, and family-friendly, with a focus on freshly prepared traditional dishes, quality ingredients, and a genuine cultural food experience.

Our signature dish is traditional plov, prepared with very tender beef, fragrant rice, fresh vegetables, and rich aromatic spices. It is naturally gluten-free, diary-free, nut-free coeliac-friendly and has been especially popular with our customers for its rich, comforting flavour. We also offer a vegetarian option. Our dishes have been especially highly praised by children, who have really enjoyed the taste. Every portion is served with a fresh salad.

Cooking has always been more than just preparing food for us – it is a way of bringing people together. My husband has always loved cooking and puts his heart, soul, and passion into every dish he creates.

For many years, we cooked for our family and friends, sharing traditional homemade meals and creating memorable moments around the table. The warm feedback, compliments, and encouragement we received inspired us to turn our passion into a family business.

Today, we are proud to share our authentic plov with a wider community. Every event we cater is prepared with the same care, quality, and love that we would give to our own family. Our goal is simple: to bring people together through delicious food and warm hospitality.

Although Ukrainian Family Kitchen officially launched in May 2026, we have quickly established ourselves on the UK food festival scene.

In just a few months, we have already taken part in six food festivals, including the Great British Food Festival at three different locations across England, as well as popular town food festivals in Lichfield, Belper, and Chesterfield.

The response from visitors, organisers, and local communities has been overwhelmingly positive. Our authentic plov, freshly prepared with high-quality ingredients, has earned a loyal following and many returning customers.

Following the success of our first events, we have already been invited to attend more than ten additional food festivals throughout the summer season. We believe this is because we offer something special: warm hospitality, authentic flavours, and food that is prepared with genuine care and passion.

We cater for a wide range of events, including family celebrations, weddings, birthdays, corporate events, community festivals, school events, and private parties.

Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and dietary preferences. We proudly offer traditional, halal, vegan, and gluten-free plov options, ensuring that all guests can enjoy authentic, freshly prepared food.
