VC Handmade brings people together through fun, hands-on eco resin workshops, where you’ll create your own beautiful homeware pieces to take home. From relaxed public workshops and social events to corporate team building, private parties and community sessions, each workshop is designed to be creative, sociable and suitable for complete beginners.

I provide all materials, equipment and step-by-step guidance, so you can simply turn up, get creative and enjoy the experience. Choose your colours, experiment with techniques such as marbling and terrazzo, and create unique pieces including coasters, trinket dishes, candle holders and more.

More than just a craft workshop, it’s a chance to switch off, connect with others and make something you’re genuinely proud to take home.

VC Handmade started from my own love of creating and the way being creative helped me switch off from the pressures of everyday life. After working in the legal profession, I decided to take a completely different path and turn that passion into my own business.

What began as making and experimenting with eco resin homeware has grown into running creative workshops across Bristol and beyond, bringing people together to make, socialise and try something new.

I'm inspired by the idea that creativity should be accessible to everyone – you don't need to be "arty" or have any previous experience. One of my favourite parts of what I do is seeing someone arrive convinced they won't be good at it, then leave genuinely proud of what they've created. For me, the workshops are about much more than making homeware. They're about giving people time to switch off, connect with others and enjoy doing something completely different.

Since launching VC Handmade, I've grown the business from a creative passion into a workshop brand delivering experiences across Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and beyond. I've hosted workshops for hundreds of guests, from public events and private celebrations to corporate team-building sessions and community groups, and have worked with a growing range of businesses, venues and hospitality partners.

A major milestone has been building an online community of almost 17,000 followers, allowing me to share my work, inspire others to get creative and grow the business organically through social media. I've also had the opportunity to collaborate with creative brands, deliver larger-scale events and take my workshops into some fantastic venues, while continuing to develop the social and community side of the business.

My background in law, recruitment and running my own business has given me years of experience working with people, managing events and clients, and delivering a professional service – something I bring to every workshop.

My clients range from individuals looking for a fun, creative experience to businesses organising team socials, wellbeing activities and corporate events.

I regularly provide workshops for corporate teams, private parties, hen parties, birthdays, community groups, care homes and public events, as well as working with venues and event organisers looking to offer something a little different.

My workshops are particularly popular with groups who want an activity that is social, hands-on and beginner-friendly, where everyone can get involved regardless of creative experience. I can cater for both smaller, intimate groups and larger events, with workshops tailored to suit the occasion, group size and setting.

My professional background as a Chartered Legal Executive has given me extensive experience in client care, organisation, risk awareness and delivering a high standard of service, which I now bring to running VC Handmade.

I also work with established venues, businesses and organisations across Bristol and beyond, and have experience delivering corporate, private and community workshops for groups of varying sizes. All workshops are carefully planned, with appropriate safety procedures and guidance provided throughout, so clients can feel confident that their event is in experienced and professional hands.
