We Run The Room

Complete Entertainment Solutions Ltd is run by Richard Dutton and Chris Day, two experienced performers with around 25 years in live music and entertainment.

Through We Run The Room, we create energetic, crowd-led events combining DJ sets, live music, karaoke, games and interactive hosting. We play everything from Britpop, indie and alternative 80s to house, dance, drum and bass, hip hop and guilty pleasures—and we’re always happy to take requests.

Every booking is tailored to the venue, occasion and audience. We can provide our own PA, lighting and equipment, making us a flexible, reliable option for pubs, clubs, festivals, weddings, corporate events and private parties.

Their musical background includes Shines signed to London’s Echo Base Records and supported by Radio X, BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio and cult Grimsby band Orphan Boy, who released three studio albums, made several appearances at Glastonbury Festival and received support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, XFM and NME.

Now Richard and Chris bring that experience into a full party show combining DJ sets, live performance, energetic hosting, karaoke and crowd interaction. Their music spans Britpop, indie and alternative 80s through to house, dance, drum & bass and guilty pleasures.
