Our Story
In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, actor and writer Will Cook found himself working behind the bar at a pub in Chelsea. Like many performers at the time, the traditional paths of stage and screen had come to a halt. But rather than sit still, Will saw an opportunity - he picked up a mic, brought in some trivia, and hosted his first quiz night.
It wasn’t long before people noticed these weren’t your average quizzes. They were live, playful, unpredictable. There was singing. There were Shakespeare monologues. There were speeches from films. What began as a necessity quickly became a passion - and from that, a business.
As word spread, Will became the resident quiz master at The Phoenix in Chelsea and began building something bigger: a quiz company that offered more than just questions and answers. Will Cook’s Quiz Co. was created to combine the best of live performance with the classic pub quiz format - turning ordinary weeknights into events people would remember.

Will trained at drama school and brings his background in performance, storytelling and live entertainment into every quiz, making each night feel like a real event rather than a standard trivia game.
As the business grows, Will works with a small network of trained performers and actors who are brought in to host shows to the same high standard, allowing the experience to be delivered across multiple venues while keeping the quality and energy consistent.

Will has been creating and running live quiz shows in London since 2020. What began as a small pub quiz during the pandemic has grown into a theatrical quiz format now hosted across multiple venues and booked for corporate clients.
